Membership in the New Orleans Legacy Association of Bands, Inc. connects you to generations of musicians who shaped the city’s sound and ensures the next generation has the tools, mentorship, and opportunities to carry that legacy forward.

Whether you once marched those same streets or simply believe in the power of music to change lives — there’s a place for you here.

New Orleans Band Alumni Association Membership

To qualify for this membership, you must have marched/played for a school band (public AND private schools are eligible) in the Orleans/Jefferson parish area for at least one (1) full school year

Community Supporters - "Legacy Keepers"

Our Community Supporters are those who haven’t played for any New Orleans school bands but know the significance of music in the lives of the young people growing up in New Orleans and want to show their support. This also includes band directors, former band directors, former band parents/booster club members, non-natives of New Orleans, etc.

Each membership is on an annual basis*

What are the membership dues/donations used for?

All dues and donations go directly to the mission of this organization: to help the high school band programs in Orleans and Jefferson Parish.
To cover costs for fundraising activities that benefit local band programs
To cover the admin and maintenance costs of the organization so we can continue to provide the support the local band programs need
To help develop a NOLA-B scholarship program
To train student interns/volunteers to help local school band department operate and utilize resources
