ABOUT THE HBCU BAND COMBINE

The Purpose:
To give all student musicians the opportunity to earn scholarships by showcasing their talents before directors of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

The Concept:

Student musicians will compete for scholarships and directors will be able to recruit from a wide selection of students under one roof.

  • Each director will evaluate Seniors in a one on one audition by their collegiate standard.

  • Juniors will partake in a panel of directors, showcasing their skills to be ranked accordingly.

  • Directors have a choice to offer scholarships at the combine to the students that meet their standards.
